The Nevada Career Studio Launches the Wolf Pack STEM Internship Program (Pack STEM)

The Nevada Career Studio is excited to announce the official launch of the Wolf Pack STEM Internship Program (Pack STEM)! Pack STEM is a paid internship program sponsored by the Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) and facilitated by the Nevada Career Studio, at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Pack STEM provides funding for individual UNR graduate and undergraduate student internships in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with local tech small businesses and start-up companies. Pack STEM supports the training and retention of STEM talent in Northern Nevada, focusing on women and underrepresented minorities pursuing STEM disciplines.
Pack STEM is a year-round program, offering internships in the Fall, Spring, AND Summer academic sessions. Internships taking place during the Fall/Spring academic sessions are allotted 120 hours of work, while internships offered during the Summer session will be allotted 360hours of work. Interns will be paid a competitive wage of $18/hour.
